He has a diagnosis of spastic tetraparesis level 4. It shows as a very low tonus centrally, which is increasing towards the periphery or distal parts of the body. Hips and knees while standing are in strong internal rotation and adduction. As a consequence, the feet have gotten into a strong Plano vascular position, bowed Achilles tendon, the navicular bone pressured downwards. The thumbs on the feet are forced into hallux valgus position. The weight of the body is mostly on the first third of the foot, that is, on the fingers.
The boy turns independently on the longitudinal axis and can move independently with the help of the crawl around the room. All this still using spastic extension patterns. Depending on his age and performance, a boy needs an experience of verticalization, while it is essential to ensure a correct position of body and especially his knees and hips so that a permanent deformation does not occur in the long run.

aNImaKe designed an ankle based AFO orthoses. On the first application improvements were seen in the very position of the foot. The boy was able to maintain a more correct vertical position. In spite of the fact that we did not support the first third of the foot and allowed the toe off stage of gait to be free, the footage showed a satisfactory position of the thumb. It is easier for a boy to spread the weight of the body all over the foot and not to force his fingers. He feels well with the use of orthosis, no increased pressure or abrasions have been observed. He likes to use it.

He has been using them for three months.
