In aNImaKe he performs engineering examinations of feet, positioning the feet into corrected positions and static or dynamic measurements of feet. He deals with the most difficult pathologies.
He finished secondary school in Maribor. After high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, orthotics and prosthodontics, where he successfully completed his studies with honors in 2010 and gained his professional title as a graduated engineer of orthotics and prosthetics.
After finishing his studies, he was employed in Germany and worked in England and Italy within the framework of short-term training.
During his work abroad, he was additionally professionally trained at various international conferences and professional fairs and congresses, and actively participated in expert consultations within the International Association for Orthotic and Prosthetics (ISPO) and the International Association for Footwear Orthotics (IVO).
He also worked in Austria, where he was subspecialized to the professional field of custom-made orthopedic insoles. He focused on the footwear and in this field co-founded the company Ortopedski inženiring (www.oim.si) in 2014, oriented towards footwear orthotics (shoes, insoles, struts). The company is based on three pillars: diagnostics, production and research and development.
Dejan Tašner works great with patients and in production, and is also active in research and development. It thus complements its scientific and professional work, which has also demonstrated international visibility in the field of footwear orthotics.
In Slovenia, with international professional standards, he is in the field of footwear orthotics and enters into a professional research field, which is very important for the further development of the profession in Slovenia and in the international environment.
He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the ISPO Slovenia Association.
He is a member of the Governing Board of the IVO, which is the world's umbrella organization for the field of footwear orthotics, that joins the national federations of most of the countries in the world. He was elected to the committee as the youngest member of the committee and the first from Eastern and Southern Europe.
